Overly theoretical degree programmes with little practical content are one of the main reasons why even well-educated young people often struggle to find suitable jobs in both North Macedonia and Kosovo.
In order to combat the major challenge of youth unemployment, the European Commission is explicitly calling for the development of a dual training system that includes special vocational training with a greater practical focus, especially for young women.
The project contributes to significantly improving the employment prospects of young Macedonian and Kosovar professionals and managers by imparting practical know-how and international experience.
Project objective
The economies of North Macedonia and Kosovo will have access to better-qualified specialists and managers who, as multipliers, will contribute their acquired skills on forward-looking topics to transformation processes in line with the requirements for EU accession.
