Virtual ‘Management Training’

Description Uganda and the German federal state Bavaria cooperate in the project Renewable Energies in Uganda - Technology Transfer. On the Bavarian side, the Bavarian State Ministry of Economic Affairs, Rural Development and Energy (StMWI) is the main project partner; on the Ugandan side, representatives and experts of companies, representatives of the Ministry of Energy, regional and local municipal representatives and representatives of universities from the energy sector are involved. Furthermore, representatives of industry associations (e.g. Chamber of Commerce in Mekelle and Kampala) and of public authorities (e.g. regulatory authority) are involved.

The project will provide selected experts and managers from both partner countries with the necessary knowledge for planning and implementing decentralised energy projects. The overall measure is divided into components, in which employees of particularly relevant and interested institutions and companies from the partner countries participate.

This event is the third component: a virtual management training, which includes topics such as leadership, self-management and communication. In addition, participants can get to know more about renewable energies in Germany/Bavaria as well as energy storage and off-grid solutions.
