German Tunisian administrative exchange
Primary tabs
The Jasmine Revolution of 2011 initiated a process of change toward good governance and modern, citizen-oriented administrative structures. Special focuses lie on strengthening local authorities and expanding municipal citizen services.
The aim of the project within the German Government and Federal States Programme is to strengthen the theoretical and practical knowledge of Tunisian administrative specialists and managers in processes of democratic participation.
To this end, civil servants of Baden-Württemberg and Tunisian students from the Ecole National d'Administration de Tunis (ENA), the training center for Tunisian administrators, are coming together in an Autumn School to jointly learn and discuss about political participation processes. The goal of the Autumn School is the development of a transfer project by the students, which they can apply to future activities in Tunisia.
